IN THIS LESSON

“Sometimes you never know the value of a moment until it becomes a memory.”
— Dr. Seuss

Hello! Before we rush into whatever’s next, I want to invite you to pause with me.

This first lesson is about honoring what you’ve just walked through. Not fixing it, not wrapping it up with a bow — just holding it with honesty and tenderness. Maybe you’ll even feel a few tears surface (that’s okay). Sometimes we don’t realize how much we’ve been carrying until someone helps us slow down and notice.

We’ll talk about why marking moments matters — and how even a simple ritual can help your heart, mind, and body all get on the same page. You’ll be guided through a gentle reflection on what’s been, what’s stayed with you, and what you’re ready to set down.

And then, together, we’ll create a small, meaningful way to mark this transition — something that helps you say, This mattered. I’m here now. And I’m still becoming.

Let’s begin.

    1. What is one thing I’m proud of from this past season—whether or not anyone else noticed it?

    2. What loss, disappointment, or unspoken grief needs to be named so it doesn’t silently follow me into summer?

    3. What did I survive?

    4. What’s something I gave or contributed that no one asked for but I freely offered?

    5. How has this season shaped me?

A Blessing for Looking Back

As you pause at the end of this year,
may you find the courage to look back—not with judgment, but with gentle curiosity.
May you notice what surprised you, what stretched you, what steadied you.
And may you honor every version of yourself who walked through it all.

If there were moments you wish had gone differently,
may you offer yourself the same compassion you’d give a dear friend.
If there were moments of beauty or joy,
may you let them linger a little longer.

Thank you—for showing up in ways big and small.
Thank you—for being human in the midst of it all.
Thank you—to your past self, who carried you here.

May you feel seen in the story you’ve lived,
held in the mystery of what’s still unfolding,
and grounded in the truth that you are not alone.

You made it through. And you’re still becoming.
What a gift it is to witness that.
