Between Chapters: A Summer Guide to Honoring What Was and Welcoming What’s Next
Welcome, friend. I’m so glad you’re here.
This course was created as a gentle companion for the summer season — especially the in-between places where life feels tender, uncertain, or quietly changing.
Whether you’re just finishing a semester, navigating transition, or simply feeling the shift that summer brings, this space is for you.
Each chapter in this course will invite you to slow down and tend to your life with honesty, curiosity, and care. We’ll move through three central movements — honoring what was, recognizing what is, and gently turning toward what’s next — with a bonus chapter for those returning home and holding tension in that experience.
Every section includes:
A short video introduction, where I’ll walk with you through the heart of that chapter — sharing encouragement, context, and the therapeutic lens behind what we’re doing.
Reflection questions to help you name what’s true for you right now.
A guided practice to engage with — sometimes playful, sometimes quiet, always meaningful.
And a closing blessing, written just for you, to receive as you go.
This isn’t a course that asks you to strive or solve — it’s an invitation to be with yourself. As you are. In this moment.
You don’t have to have it all figured out. You just have to show up.
Let’s begin, together!

Chapter 1: Honor What Was
“Before we rush ahead, let’s take a breath and look back.”
This chapter invites you to pause and reflect on the season you’ve just lived. With tenderness and honesty, we’ll explore what you carried, what changed you, and what’s worth honoring before you move forward. You’ll be guided through a simple practice to help mark the transition — because your story deserves to be witnessed.“Before we rush ahead, let’s take a breath and look back.”

Chapter 2: The Art of Being Here
“Noticing is a form of belonging.”
In a world that pushes you to always be achieving or improving, this chapter helps you practice the quiet, radical act of being present. You’ll learn how to notice what’s true in your body, heart, and mind — without needing to fix it. Together, we’ll practice naming the small, beautiful, unfiltered moments that make up your right-now life.“Noticing is a form of belonging.”

Chapter 3: Becoming, Not Just Arriving
“You don’t have to know the whole story to take the next step.”
As you look toward what’s next, this chapter helps you move from striving to becoming — with curiosity, courage, and delight. You’ll explore what kind of person you want to grow into (not just what you want to do) and how to hold your plans with both hope and flexibility. No pressure. Just permission to keep becoming.“You don’t have to know the whole story to take the next step.”

Bonus Chapter: For the College Student Returning Home
“You’re allowed to be different than you were.”
Coming home for the summer can bring up all kinds of feelings — especially when you’ve grown in ways that don’t quite fit into familiar places. This chapter helps you name the tension, hold space for the complexity, and stay rooted in who you’re becoming… even if no one else sees it yet.“You’re allowed to be different than you were.”

While this course may feel therapeutic, it is not a substitute for therapy. The reflections and practices offered here are designed to support your self-awareness and emotional growth, but they are not meant to replace mental health treatment.
If you find yourself wanting deeper support or you're navigating something that would be best held in the context of therapy, I’d be honored to walk with you.
